One of the most exciting features of the new Anesoft simulators is the ability for anyone with medical
content expertise, but little or no computer programming experience, to create and modify case scenarios
to share among colleagues. This will provide a more diverse learning experience for students, decrease
the overall workload for educators, and provide a means for case developers to achieve academic recognition
for their efforts.
Each case includes:
- Title
- Author and affiliation
- Brief case description
- Date case was last modified
- Target audience
- Learning objectives
- Complete description of all the states and transitions
- ‘What Now Help’ for each state
- Automated debriefing and scoring for each transition
Author your own cases:
- We will help you write your scenario if you agree to share it with others.
- Email us for authoring instructions.
- Email your case to us for free technical assistance.
- Publish on our website and AAMC MedEdPORTAL.
The case files are free and open source, but to run the cases in the case library and fully appreciate
the scenario and help features you will need to purchase the newest release of the associated simulator product.
