What is the difference between the Single License and an Institutional License?
The Single License gives you permission to install the software on a single computer. Any number of people can use the program, but only one at a time. The Institutional License gives your institution permission to install the program on an institutional server or an unlimited number of personal computers. Essentially, the Single License is for an individual or small group of people while an Institutional License is for an entire institution.

How do I earn Continuing Education credits with Anesoft software?
Email us. Simply tell us which program you used and the number of hours. We will email you a certificate for AMA PRA Category 2 credits.

Do the recommendations in ACLS, PALS and Neonatal Simulators match AHA guidelines?
Yes, ACLS Simulator 7, PALS Simulator 7, and Neonatal Simulator 2 agree with the latest AHA guidelines published in December 2005.

Can I earn AHA Certification by using the ACLS Simulator?
Use of the ACLS Simulator does not substitute for the AHA ACLS course, but it does make it very easy to pass the AHA course. Some medical centers have declared the ACLS Simulator to be ACLS ‘equivalent’ for recertification and sedation privileges.

Why am I having difficulty ordering the software at the Anesoft eStore?
The Privacy setting for your browser is probably blocking the transaction. In Internet Explorer, select Tools > Internet Options > Privacy. Set the slider to Medium, then select Apply, OK.

Why are there two versions of the Hemodynamics Simulator ?
The 2002 version is written in Java. This version works well when installed on a server, but will not run if installed on a stand-alone computer with Microsoft Windows XP and SP2. Version 2002 will work when installed on computers with Windows Vista. Version 1.0 will work on any system. The medical content is virtually identical for both versions.

How do I download the software?

For all simulators except Hemodynamics, you must first ensure that Microsoft .Net framework 2.0 is installed on your computer. Click on the Download .Net 2.0 button above. You can install .Net 2.0 even if another version is already installed. Multiple versions of the framework are compatible.
To download the simulator software, select the appropriate download button above. We suggest you save the download file to your hard disk. Note the destination folder.
To install the simulator software, double-click the appropriate setup program in the destination folder. If you can’t remember the destination folder, Search for files named setup_*.msi

Why am I getting an error when I try to use the software or demos?
1) Anesoft simulation programs require Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows Vista.
2) Microsoft .Net framework, version 2.0, must be installed on your computer.
3) Java must be enabled in your browser internet options to use Hemodynamics Simulator 2002 or Bioterrorism Simulator 2002.

Are Anesoft simulators easy to use?
We have made great efforts to make our simulators very easy to use, even by computer novices. The Help system in each program provides detailed, step-by-step management instructions for a sample case to illustrate use of the program. What should I learn from doing the simulated cases?
The help system presents learning objectives and tutorials for each case.

Can I write my own cases for Anesoft simulators?
Yes! One of the most exciting features of the new Anesoft simulators is that anyone can write and share cases. Click on Cases above for further information.

What if an Anesoft program does not meet my expectations?
We guarantee that Anesoft provides the highest quality medical educational software available. If you are not satisfied, simply return your program within 30 days for a full refund (excluding shipping).
